This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of USVI.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

.Lightning...Isolated to scattered thunderstorms possible across
the islands and surrounding waters. Be aware of thunderstorms in
your area and be prepared to take shelter.

.Excessive Rainfall...Ponding of water in roads and poorly
drained areas across the islands. Urban and small streams
flooding is possible.

.Excessive Heat...Heat index 108-111 degrees across much St. Croix.
Heat exhaustion likely with prolonged exposure. Heat stroke
possible. The rest of the coastal areas,the risk will remain
limited with heat indices in the 102-107 Fahrenheit degrees. Heat
exhaustion likely with prolonged exposure. Heat stroke possible.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday through Saturday

The heat threat will remain for at least Monday. An increase in
the flooding and the lightning threat is forecast from Tuesday
through Thursday. Therefore, ponding of waters and urban flooding
is expected for that period.
